How You Get Paid: Affiliate Payouts
As you generate subscribers, you will begin to earn commissions each time that subscriber makes a payment and for the life of that subscriber. For clarity, here's how our payouts work, keeping in mind some accounts start with a free trial.
- After the Trial & First Payment: For customers who start with a free trial, your commission is tied to their first successful payment after the trial ends.
- 30-Day Hold: Once that first payment is made, we place a 30-day hold on the commission. This is because we offer customers a 30-day return/refund window on their initial payment.
- Monthly Payouts: After the 30-day hold period passes (calculated from the date of their first payment), your commission is "locked in." We then pay out all locked commissions on the 1st business day of the following month (as long as your total payment due is $20 or greater).
Quick Example:
- A customer signs up for a 7-day free trial on June 20th.
- They convert to a paid plan, and their first payment is processed on June 28th.
- The 30-day hold on this commission starts from June 28th and ends around July 28th.
- That commission will then be included in the payout on August 1st (or the next business day).
